My philosophy
I work by attempting to uncover and, if posssible, resolve underlying issues, thoughts and feelings that are stopping you from making the changes in your life that you desire.
When we first meet, I like to begin by:
- Focusing on the present by doing a light meditation together, where I may ask questions to find out where you are in your life.
- During or after the meditation, various thoughts and feeling can emerge, some more or less unexpected, which can provide additional clues.
My approach is always customised to fit your needs
For example,
- some clients have a strong need or desire for structure, such as specific "homework" assignments, perhaps with specific goals connected to them
- others require something completely different, such as "permission" to relax for a couple of hours without doing anything.
Regardless, the aim is always to support and guide you to get in better contact with yourself, which, in my experience, is the most important basis for making changes in your life you desire.
